I know this flag was painted by a young Edna Mohler--found along with a crayoned maple leaf listed separately and dated 1910. I count forty eight "x's" for stars - interesting, since Arizona, the 48th, was not added until 1912. So perhaps this was done just a bit later--or perhaps Edna was not perfect in her counting! Whatever the case, the X's feel pretty poignant at the moment, and the rich color, and slightly wavering/bleeding edges on the stripes, make it quite an excellent one I think.
9 1/4" x 6", very good condition, color super strong, paper crisp and bright.
