As detailed on the inside of the front cover, this particular volume (#6) in a series of Krone's Paragon Series drawing books was designed to teach "more difficult" exercises in shading, including cross shading, solids, etc. On each page is a printed example, at left, which the student, in this case Agnes Raiche, was to redraw exactly. I find seeing the two versions side by side quite pleasing to the eye, and think our Agnes did quite a good job!
9 1/4" x 6 1/2", 8 pages plus cover, with tissue paper in between each page. The back of each page is blank. Very good condition, paper not brittle; a bit of spotting/toning here and there.
