19th C. Double-Sided Naive Graphite & Crayon Drawing: Blue Bonnet, Sunflowers, Strawberries

This is one of a handful of drawings I'm listing by the same (surely quite young) maker, found together in an old notebook already partially disassembled so I went ahead and separated them all. I'd guess 1870s or so, and all quite wonderful, with the people especially soulful--this wild eyed pink cheeked girl in her blue bonnet a perfect case in point, looking a bit cat like, and also fiercely determined, and also perhaps possessed!  The dramatic curve of the road (I assume) at the right, and the sunflowers and strawberries on reverse, are all really full of life too! Love.

7 3/4" x 5 1/4" and in very good condition, with a little smudging to her blue crayoned bonnet.
