The only record I've found on this 1987 newsprint ad is in the archive of the Mark Morris Dance Group itself, founded by Morris in NYC in 1980, and one of the preeminent contemporary dance companies of our time. I found it at a flea market in PA and jumped on it--as a fan of the company and also for how very mid-late 1980s New York it feels. (And with "Not a family show" printed at lower left.) And it feels quite tender to me too--surely once hung on the wall of someone close to the company and contemporary dance world. I know from the website that the photo featured was taken by Tom Brazil, with Rob Besserer, Morris, and Tina Fehland pictured.
22 3/8" x 17" framed as found, substantial gold metal frame, under glass. Tons of glare in photos! I opened the frame to clean the glass--the newspint ad (I presume made to be wheat-pasted around the city) is mounted to foam core. Good vintage condition, with a few toning spots along edges and one small tear upper right edge.
