1940s Child's Drawing: Yellow Deer

This is one of a handful of drawings I'm listing all done by a kid with the initials of J.B in the 1940s. I love them all, but am especially keen on the pond and butterfly in this one, and all of these bright and perky flowers lined up along their neat ow of grass. And then this very very gentle looking yellow deer at the center of it all, with stalky orange flower almost turning it into a unicorn!

12 1/4" x 9 1/8" and in. Crayon on construction paper, which is a bit brittle.  Overall good condition, with a small clean tear along the right edge.
