I purchased this one from a dealer from Michigan, but am not sure the location of The Stable for which this hand-painted sign was produced, c. 1940s I would guess. Fabulous blue, fabulous lettering, and how to argue with BEER, including to take out? Behind glass, in an antique frame as found, which I think suits it very well.
11 3/4" x 8 3/4". Some red and white paint spatters on the sign (which looks to me to have been painted on cardboard--all to the good I think.
