Sculptural Pair of Lead Weights

I'm not totally sure what these were made to be used for--perhaps something related to fishing? --but I think they're very beautiful things, each weighing a pound. I thought they would make great paperweights, easily lifted by their loop handles to move from one spot to another, but  just great small sculptures wherever one puts them. I think they're quite nice together so am selling as a pair.

Each measures 4 5/8" t x 2 7/16" in diameter. Excellent condition, with some age for sure.
