Scottish Sailor with Very Stuffed Pants, T. Gilfillan Glasgow CDV, Late 19th Century

What sold me on this guy, in addition to his very Scottish looking face and jaunty pose (and peek of a nice knit sweater visible at his neckline) was, I must admit, his very fully stuffed sailor's pants! 

3 3/4" x 2 1/2". .T. Gilfillan, Glasgow albumen photo carte de visite, late 19th century I believe. Good condition, general light wear and a small loss to lover right corner.
