The Standard Crayon and Chalk Company began operation in Lynn, Mass. in 1891 and moved to Danvers in 1904; I believe these "Kindergarten Crayons" date to very shortly after that move. These are scarce, but the big thing about this set is its near perfectness: the label on the box, together with the near pristine crayons lined up perfectly within it, just make for a perfect crayon color kindergarten design object time capsule.
