Found in New England, and this sure looks like a New England winter to me. And a winter landscape rendered in blues feels, after this winter especially, both formally accurate and metaphorically correct! This could use a cleaning if one is disposed that way, but I like it as it is. Oil on what looks to me to be Devoe Raynolds academy board, with partial label adhered to the back, c. 1930s or so I believe.
12 1/4" x 9 1/4". Some general soiling as evident and a few small paint chips bottom edge left, as documented.
