Color Study: Mixed Set of 49 Old Color Cubes, Cool and Warm

One of two sets of old color cube blocks listed today--I bought a mixed lot, all thrown into one bag, then sorted them to understand the lot was composed of three different sets/partial sets, easy to distinguish if one looks closely! I thought about dividing this group into two, but then put them together with all those whites facing up, some warm, some cool, and decided it makes for quite a nice tabletop painting! And indeed these become very much about the paint itself. Both types here are old, and good ones. 49 total as shown in photos, plus one extra to make 50, that one with a small chip to the white side.

Blocks about 1 1/8" cubed, set of 49 (plus one). All in very good condition, nice wear and age.
