How stunningly beautiful a burning building can be, and also very apocalyptic feeling. This photo is more beautiful and nuanced in hand, with a glossy surface and some silveriness to the blacks that makes it seem all the moodier and the structure all the more skeletal against the aura of white light. And very gothic feeling, I keep thinking of Poe and The Fall of the House of Usher.
