I've always got an eye out for older Acoma pueblo pottery, but it's a very rare day I find such a beauty of a larger bowl as this priced within my reach. And not so much as a chip or hairline crack that I can find, just general surface wear and aging as there should be. C. 1940s I believe, maybe just a bit earlier, with the hand-painted decoration more of a brown-black than black-black. Lovely.
7" d x 3 1/2" t and in very good condition. There is a stain on the underside, not visible otherwise, from what looks like an old piece of tape. I have not tried to clean it.
