Miss Asta Swenson was clearly a very popular and lively young woman, who also had some friends who were quite the young artists; this is not your typical autograph album! I've focused much more on documenting drawings than written messages but pretty much every page of this 55 page album was filled--and full of the liberated spirit and gay humor of the 1920s. An uncommonly good example, from which not a page has been removed. Some stand alone artworks for sure, but together a pretty wonderful portrait of the minds and mores of high schoolers, mid 1920s style.
