Truly Your Friend, Bird and Tiny Bug, Spencerian Red and Black Ink Calligraphy Autograph Album Page, 1884

This and a second page today (listed separately) from the same autograph album, of an Ernest Hills, spanning 1884-88. I typically keep things in tact but there was not much else in there so I extracted the pages with Spencerian calligraphy. A most welcome sentiment, Truly Your Friend, and I especially love the tiny bug with antennae pointed up toward the tail feathers of the lovely red and black inked bird. Looks like this one was done by Ernest's teacher, Prof. D Martin, of Room 19!

5 7/8" x 3 1/2". Good condition, red and black ink on cream paper. A few stains and a little toning as evident. No tears and paper not brittle.
