A few more today by the same person who drew the woman with raised hand in garden (framed) listed last week along with another sold --I love these so much, each quite singular but showing their maker's sustained commitment to drawing lovely ladies in radiant colors with distinctive features and sculptural hair! And this young woman looks so thoughtful and kind to me, a very nice one to keep company with. I know these were found in the collection of an artist in Maine, and believe they date to the late 19th century or so.
6 3/16" x 4 9/16". Graphite and crayon on paper. Good condition, paper a bit brittle, small loss to bottom left corner of paper.
