Stark and lush feeling at the same time, highly atmospheric while capturing every detail with clarity, rich blacks and silvery white sky, quite striking. With these men in hats and bow ties dotting the tropical landscape, almost as if exotic creatures being observed in habitat, staring back at the camera while dwarfed by the palm trees.
4 3/4" x 3 7/8". Good condition, a little surface peeling along the top edge in a couple of spots, silver print on thin paper, c. 1900.
