With every Critical Eye purchase, I include a short handwritten note of thanks, and I've been thrilled to be receiving personal notes from customers in return, sharing with me a little about the homes and collections into which my finds are finding their place. It seems most everyday I hear people bemoaning the fact that “young people these days” are not interested in anything old or antique; that everyone buys their furniture at IKEA and has no love for anything with the patina of age and use.
