This one is very much of the ilk of a miniature folk art book carved of marble or stone, but instead is made of solid lead (and as such can be used to draw with, like a pencil!) I have no knowledge of its connection to the YMCA on Christmas in 1919, but those were the fairly early years of the YMCA in the United States, with the organization providing a wide array of programs services to diverse populations. I have found a fair number of old YMCA medals and badges and commemorative objects out there, but nothing like this--type stamped, very much by hand, on both sides. (Type laid in opposite directions - i.e. face up on one side, upside down on the other; photos document both sides but I've reoriented to face right side up when flipped!)
2 1/8" x 1 5/8" x 5/8". Solid and heavy. Very good condition condition, just general light wear and aging, all to the good, no losses.
