I am so into this one, and have never seen another like it, and really have no idea the logic behind it (holding diaper pins?) but that makes me like it all the more! The cradle itself it great in its old creamy white paint, but a hundred times better for two drawers at one end and another at the other. All of the drawers, with tiny handles, are lined in their original fabric and open and close easily, and the whole thing will rock back in forth on the rockers underneath. Great form, great fun.
7" l x 3" d x 5" t and in great structural shape, completely sturdy and sound. There are some old Stans on the top as pictured, which look like they were made with pen and ink and I don't think detract. 1920s-40s I would guess. Made with cigar box or crate wood, with text showing inside when one removes the drawers.
