Super folky and also beautifully done, this is a hand-mirror I'd be very inclined to hang on the wall, with one nail to either side of the bottom of the frame, so easy to take down and also to show both ways. Carved of oak, hence the relief carved oak leaf and acorns, with inlaid flowers on stems at either end of the handle and a now perfectly distressed inset mirror, held tight with the interior rim painted red. Surely a gift for the sweetheart of the maker, this really teems with love and warmth. Heavy, substantial, charming.
12" x 6 3/16" x 1" and in very good condition. Mirror is degraded, which in my opinion is very much to the good, and the rest of it seems indestructible.
