I find this really wonderful. Probably done as school work, but I think quite transcendent. And feels like a poignant moment for thinking about FDR--including as we watch our social safety net disappear. The arching cut paper numbers mark the span of his presidency. And then this silhouette bust on column, which feels very full of life to me. To my eye just right, down to every detail and imperfection.
10 3/4" x 8 3/4", framed, under glass, as found. With rubber cement showing through the white paper as evident and a few stray drips here and there--all of a piece with it and all to the good I think.
