Wonderful Antique Toy Horse in Mustard Paint with Tin Legs and Graphite Drawn Details

The best paint on this sweet old horse, and a great silhouette too, animated by painted tin legs and made all the better by some old graphite drawing on the surface of both sides, partially rendering harness and saddle. There were likely once wires/rods that ran from its knees to a cart it pulled behind it (surely those holes had a purpose) but if so I'm quite glad it was liberated from that burden.

7 5/8" x 6 1/4" t. C. late 19th century I believe. Does not stand on its own on four legs, but  will stand on its own as shown in first photo, or with legs down in front on behind it. General wear and age, all to the good, sturdy and sound.
