Small but powerful, this woman reminds me a bit of a figurehead on a ship, facing fiercely (and fearlessly) into the wind, shoulders squared, with wonderful long braids trailing down her back. Beautiful all the way around, carved of dark green stone, signed in syllabics accompanied by a disc number on the underside. With a calming presence that outweighs her size. I want to channel her.
3" t x 2 1/2" w x 2 3/4". (My novice translation of the syllabics is "Nujaitu" but I have not connected that to an artist.) Very good condition, c. 1970s or so I would guess, with maybe a very small ding to her lower lip (documented with magnification) but if so very minor.
