Woman with Jugs and Fish, Early 19th Century Watercolor Portrait

This I know was found inside the pages of an early 19th century Bible. How long it lived there I am not sure, but I believe dates to the 1820s or 30s. What I love most is the treatment of that fish and her hand as she grips the basket that holds it--along with some greens poking out at the other end. She's got her hands full! A pretty terrific face, too, especially those eyebrows. The picture of a hard-working woman juggling all of the things. A nice one for the kitchen, I'd say--or hanging over the bar!

10 5/8" x 7 3/4". Small loss to upper left corner but overall in very good condition, with  rich, lush feeling color.
