I have a hard time resisting a tabletop wooden house, and think this is a pretty sweet one. The roof lifts off, and there's a little arched cutout on the backside to accommodate a miniature dog or cat wanting to get out! The front window and door are backed with paper printed with gridded panes, and the chimney painted by hand with a brick pattern. Some spotting to the white paint as evident and a bit of splitting to the wood on one short side, but overall solid and sturdy and the roof fits snugly on top, with a cutout edge to accommodate the chimney. Found in Pa, 1930-40s I would guess.
