I really love the slab-cut circles and lozenge-shapes that give a great texture and interest to the surface of this hand-thrown pottery vase--especially for the fact that they are not entirely regular, or exactly straight, giving the piece a great handmade warmth and uniqueness. I'd use this vase every day, and if not in use would put it out somewhere to enjoy it as the lovely sculptural object that it is.
7 3/8" tall x 4 7/8" across at widest (lip); 3 5/8" across at base. Excellent vintage condition. Signed "Maya" on the underside.
