I assume a policeman, and would guess British, who looks as if guarding a gate—or perhaps the entrance to a museum, or church, or Buckingham palace! He won me with his chubby face and red cheeks (or ears?), and seems a useful one to prop outside one’s door or on one’s desk when wishing not to be disturbed!
9”t x3 7/8”w x 4 7/8” d and in excellent condition. 2nd half 20th c I believe.
