Not a super fancy one, but a nice, solid one, in very good condition, I would guess 1940s or so. Someone more recently added a new fabric lining, which is not quite the choice I might have made, but it is clean and new and dust free! Chip carved of cigar box wood, with varnish over top. It seems possible there was once additional ornament on the front facing panel as there is a little scuffing there and one stray nail, but if so it does not feel apparent, and it is all about the lid anyway!
8 3/8" l x 5 5/8" d x 3 1/8" t, with hinges well attached, lid sitting flush, and no splits or other issues.
