Found in Maine, this bottle whimsy is not a very old one, but I find these so mind-boggling I'll never pass them by if I can help it. The one is housed in a vintage medicine bottle with graduated measure in the sides, and houses a carved ladder, axe, cross, and what I'd guess is a sword, all of which will shuffle around just a bit when shook, but not a lot.
5" t x 1 3/4" w x 1" d and in very good condition. There is a visible split in the surface of the wood on the head of the axe/hatchet, pretty minor.
