So many sorts of old folk art creatures I can't resist, horses most definitely among them, white ones especially (coming to the rescue!), and all the better with a horsehair tail. I especially love the shape of the head on this one, with ears surely having gotten a bit more rounded over the years, and I love it for having a bit of a split personality too, with dark mane showing on one side, but not the other, and one eye a dash and the other a dot. Great old painted surface too.
4 3/8" l measured on the square, not including tail; 4 1/8" t. Very good condition, very early 20th c. I would guess.
