A very lovely small antique retablo painting on tin, dated 1915 and signed by an E. Guerrero, giving thanks to the Lord. I really love the manner of the lettering, and the division of the surface into three sections of gray, and then this very gentle looking Jesus--such delicately painted features, sacred heart on his chest, and hand raised to show his stigmata--floating on wonderful reverse arch of billowy clouds, with suggestion of curtains parting above. Feels very heartfelt and holy to me!
7 1/8" x 5". Good condition, with light bends and rusting around the edges, all to the good I think.
