Very Delicately Painted Old Folk Art Doggy Doorstop

I not buying many doggy doorstops these days, but sometimes I can't resist; the delicacy of the painting on this little one, making it feel more like a drawing done in the back of a old school notebook than the typical broad-brush sort of painting on a doorstop like this, just won me. And that little face really makes it looks as if this pup were standing at the door just begging to be let inside!

5 1/4" t x 3 1/2" w x 5 3/8" d. Good condition, sturdy and sound, nice patina. 1930s/40s.
