I just couldn't resist this graphics on this old Jumbo Crayon tin, and, happily, there are still 39 pretty much unused jumbo crayons still inside (no sharpener, tho!) Even more than a new box of Crayola's, these definitely make me want to color something, though the crayons themselves are so pretty I'm happy just to look at them.
1950s or so I'd think. Tin measures 4 3/8" t x 3 5/8" in diameter. A little rust and a little wear, all to the good I think; lid comes off easily and closes tight. I have found these work better on some kinds of paper than others, and I think perhaps crayon technology has improved the richness of the color a bit, as the lighter colors don't produce super strong color.
