This is one of two pitchers I grabbed on my very first real-world antiquing outing after months of lockdown; while I've been making do of late with buying things on line, I like to hold a piece of pottery in my hands before buying it, and this easily made the cut! Hand-thrown and just the right amount of clunky, it' really perfect for a big bunch of wildflowers, but also the perfect pitcher for pouring whatever at a summer backyard gathering. And the painterly glazing--yellow with some drippy green and purple-gray--is just right.
8 3/4" tall x 7 3/4" across at handle, 4 3/4" d. Excellent condition, and I don't think particularly old.
