This hand thrown, drippy, variegated blue glazed blue bowl has a fantastic shape, is nice and substantial, feels great to pick up, and has a complex personality relational to the dynamic between clay body and glaze. One might put a few favorite rocks in it, or it could certainly be used as a planter or small serving bowl, but it's pretty great just sitting on the table, counter or shelf as is.
6 1/4" diameter x 3 1/4" tall and in good vintage condition. There is some browning of the glaze at the very center of the interior of the bowl and around the rim. It is signed on the bottom "SH '89".
