Tasseled Boots, Glasses, and Heart-like Hat, Marvelous 1944 Portrait of a Girl, RPPC

My favorite Tennessee find I do believe, and one of my very favorite portraits ever, from her heart shaped hat to her white tasseled boots, just perfect. Looks to me like this young woman donned all her very favorite things for this photo, adding up to a most excellent and personally expressive outfit, with an earnest and proud face to match. Transcendent.

5 3/8” x 3 3/8 and in good condition, unused postcard back. One tiny clean tear to top edge border, minor. Stamped Dec. 12, 1944.
