This is one of two pairs of antique ladies legs calipers I found in Maine this past week, both marked with the names of the machinist or blacksmith that made them--here what looks to be D.J. Casey. I like the clean lines (and long legs!) on this one combined with big brass pin and little feet. (There are also initials stamped into the brass--looks like A.F.)
4 13/16" long when closedl x 3/16" d. A couple of tiny nicks to the steel just about where the knees might be; overall good condition, opening all the way out with some pressure then holding tight.
