Sweet Old Handmade Silk Pin Cushion with Hand-drawn Boston Terrier

How to resist that face? Not very often I come across a drawing on a pin cushion either. This was made of a white/cream silk, with hand-crocheted black perimeter border, and the drawing executed in what appears to be black ink, through the gestural character of the drawing makes it feel a bit more like very dark graphite. Better in hand, very charming.

 3 11/16" x 3 3/8". Good condition, with a bit of black ink stain to the reverse side. Sturdy and sound, no holes or loose seams or other issues. C. 1930s or so I believe.
