I really like the awkward proportions of this chair, tall and narrow and with these very very hunky legs/posts combined with very thin stretchers/rails. Then painted a rose pink and given a thick, cushy upholstered seat, which makes me think it's true purpose may have been to serve as a pin cushion--and an easy one not get buried under under things! Brass upholstery tacks all around the perimeter of the seat, plus one at the top of each post for good measure. Super.
7 1/4" t x 2 13/16" w x 3 3/4" d. Very good condition, I might guess 1940s or so, though perhaps a little earlier.
