I'll never pass by a handmade score keeping device if I can help it (a really fun thing to collect, I'd say) and think this little one is really sweet. It almost seems like it was meant to be a practice clock face for learning to tell time but got a little off track as it got to 9 and 10 and then there never was an 11! But I suppose more likely there was some game that required tracking to 10. With a nice little carved arrow attached by a screw with a piece of thick gray wool felt sandwiched between, and some hand-drawn geometrical formations on the flip side, too.
3 3/4" x 3 13/16" and in good condition, usable still for tracking all sorts of things. C. 1920s-40s or so I'd think.
