I believe this postcard is British, early 20th century, and certainly it lends itself to imagining life inside these cliff-top castles, perfectly positioned for watching the sun rise from high in a tower! I like the naive manner in which it was done, combining specific attention to the structures and every little window with a painterly wash of blue then orange then pink sky. The lust trees are pretty nicely done, too!
3 1/2" x 5 1/2" and in very good condition. Watercolor and ink. Unused printed back.
