I'm not a collector of toy cars and trucks, which is a whole world unto itself, but occasionally I find one that I can 't pass by, like this old red painted rubber truck, which I am pretty certain was made by the Sun Rubber Company and is referred to as a "Cabover Truck", c. 1930s-40s I believe. It is indeed made of rubber so has a little give, which is pretty cool, and the lines of the truck are pretty terrific too, but what I most love is the surface, with black rubber showing through the old red paint, and remnants of white paint over the wheels and along the sides, and some orange-yellow paint on the rear. Just a great little object that I would perch on a shelf to admire.
4 5/8" long x 1 7/8" wide x 1 3/4" tall. The wheels as still firmly attached and roll great!
