While I think G. Reardon was likely not a super accomplished artist, I really love this little watercolor, which has a bit of a Morandi feel to it—super quiet. The greatest detail is given to the spindle legs of the table, which is rendered from a wonky perspective...but just perfect as it is! Clearly someone else was pretty pleased with it too, taking in to the old “Fine Art Rooms” at Boston’s Jordan Marsh for custom framing.
8 1/8” x 9 5/8” x 1/2”. A little wear around the edges of the gold painted frame plus tearing to the black paper on the back, but I’d leave it just as is. Wire strung for hanging.
