This one gave me pure joy to find earlier this week in southern Maine, a stone's throw from York, where it originated. The perfect, says-it-all title--"Strayed"--and then this great description of the ears of the strayed heifer in question, and "suitable reward" offered to whoever might help determine its whereabouts. I do hope Albert Young and his prized young red and white heifer were reunited and spent many more years together.
7 3/4 x 4 7/8 and in very good condition, bright and crisp, with some calculations on reverse, perhaps tabulating the losses were the heifer never to return.
