So many wonderful wooden boxes in the world! I only occasionally come across sphere-shaped boxes like this one, and snatch them up whenever I do; just such a satisfying form, and pretty handy too. There is a bit of a tendency of round boxes like this to warp as the wood expands and contracts; this one fits together nicely at the moment, but if it is very humid it might need a quick pop in the freezer to correct a bit of expansion. Really lovely, with beautiful wood grain and these nice rounded lips where the two sides join.
3 1/4" in diameter x 2 3/4" tall. There is some wear to the wood in one spot on the interior lip of the bottom, only visible when opened.
