I've taken to calling this one "the dying swan, and love it for its great gestural drama--inherent to the porcelain figurine that is its subject, but much amplified I think as photographed against a flat black ground. The Agfa Lupex paper on which it was printed identifies it as German c. WW2, placing it in a context that lends much added resonance.
3 11/16" x 2 11/16" and in very good condition.
