In the span of a week I found a series of five carved marble and wooden books--two large ones, posted last week, and then these three small ones, which I think are quite nice to together so am listings as a set.The olive and brown stone of the marble one is really beautiful, and I especially love the gilding to the "pages" of the larger wood one. (And the three carved bands on the spines of both of those make them especially nice together.) I do believe one can never have too many books or book-shaped things--there's always a pile upon which a few more can be stacked!
Marble: 2 1/4" x 1 11/16" x 1 1/16"; larger wood: 2 5/8" x 2 1/16" x 7/8"; small wood 1 15/16" x 1 3/16" x 1/2". All in good condition, with a few small chips to the marble one and some greening to the gilding on the wooden one (which I like.)
