Whether or not anyone buys them, I'll keep accumulating parts and tools like this one that I find super satisfying, and think they would look very beautiful lined up together like sculptures on a shelf. This is a log splitting cone, also known as a "grenade," and to my eye the combination of form, color and surface make it a pretty striking thing. Plus, it's got a great weight and feels excellent in the hand.
6 1/4" t x 3" diameter at base, solid cast iron with a finish that reads like gold at the top of each tier.
