Felt like Christmas finding the whole lot of these together the other day at an antiques shop on the New Hampshire coast. I think the two pairs of rubber boots and three pairs of galoshes are the oldest of the lot, with the tall rubber boots, and one pair of galoshes marked Candee, which places them late 19th/early 20th century. Then an array of hard plastic mens dress shoes in a spectrum of colors and with a variety of labels, some pairs and some singles, a handful with real laces--and several of the original boxes they came in. Plus one solid, cast, gold painted Thom McAn loafer, which would make a good paperweight and is I think my favorite of all.
For reference: Tall (Candee) rubber boots 4 7/8" t; Thom McAn box 4 3/8" l x 2 1/8" w x 1 5/8" t. All shoes in excellent condition, with original paper stuffing (mostly removed for photos, but saved.) Some wear to boxes as documented. All pictured included.
